I have an old, general TV... crt monitor for my Intel Celeron[P-2] computer. It shows red and green components of any image perfectly but can't show blue components. I checked if the cable of monitor is not working properly, but there wasn't any disconnection.
If I push power button of monitor, it shows all three components perfectly for short period of time before closing. Please find some solution to repair this type of problem.

Time to replace your LCD Screen. To verify that it is the lcd screen on
the laptop, borrow a Monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or
co-worker and plug it into the laptop.
It can be any kind of monitor even the old big fat
crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to connect to your computer's vga
port. If so that proves your video card is ok. The video will show
on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems
will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down
the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru
F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have
the icon of a display.
problem with the monitor Display cable. it is damaged.
Normally monitor will receive 3 colors red, green, Blue signals from CPU. If one cable i.e Red wire connection is missing in display cable which is connected to monitor, Red color image on monitor wil be replaced with other fade color.
So, need the replace the display cable or display connector!

hope u r a professional..as u r handling chip-level repairing of monitor, knowing itz hazardous n dangerous..
however, check thoroughly for dry soulderings..(esp. at the crt base)..[this chance is maximum].. see if the base is loose or faulty.. yes, it can b the 'chroma ic'..but don't ignore the associated components..(esp around the base).. check video amplifier n sub section.. the colour diodes, transistors n resistances at the base..
for better supervision contact ur system admin/vendor....
first you check the signal cable continuty by multimeter then correct it if faulty .if ok then give -ve click at red cathode on crt base in on condition if red raster comes on screen then red cathode is ok same thing for green and blue cathode if green cathode do not shows green raster after -ve click then crt is faulty then give -ve click at R point at color raster ic which has heat sink if red color comes then ic is ok same thing for green and blue if ic is faulty then replace it if not then check bipolar capacitor if faulty then replace it
