The power to the outdoor unit comes from the main unit inside where the main controller is in place. the relay drive to the compressor of the outside unit is switched ON from the wall unit. So the main board must be checked to see if the porcesor works and triggers the drive relay, if so the relay contacts or the relay can be faulty.
Wishing you a happy New year.

How to remove unit rfrom wall

The split system indoor unit is generally hooked on a bracket screwed to the wall. First you must cut power to the unit, Second you must evacuate the gas from the external unit using environmental approved tools. Then you remove the indoor unit by lifting about 5cm (2 inches in the old imperial system) and pull away as much as you can, about 10cm or so. At this point you can disconnect the 2 copper pipes from the external unit and the mains wiring. Richard.

Check and make sure the outside fan is running. The KSR series Kelvinators were rebadged LG units. It is possible the 6uf fan capacitor on the outside unit has failed.

Air con dead

Larger split system air con gets power from the external unit while smaller air con gets power from the internal unit. Can you find any power switch or power socket/plug around the external or internal units?

The air conditioner unit is not coming on. had message to change batteries in wall control changed batteries but unit will not come on Kelvinator DS3BC

Hi, Have you checked to see if there is power to this unit? I have not looked up the type of system you have, wall/window unit, central split system and so on. If the thermostat display said weak batteries and you installed them, it should start if it is programmed properly. If it is, the next step is to determine if it has power. If it does and will not start, we need to troubleshoot further into it. Get back to me on this. Let me know the type system you have. Thank you,

Hello im trying to trouble shoot two split systems the electrical wires were crossed for the two units I fixed it the compressors wont come on, wall unit says e7? This is on the Amcoraire ac split systems.

E7 indicates an "External Feedback Problem" which sounds like a communication problem. I believe there is a sensor cable that runs from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit also. Check that all cables are properly run to the appropriate unit and check all connections for tightness. Here is the link to a manual that includes installation and wiring instructions.
