No The sim card for the older models is not the same size as the new iPhone 5. You can take your old sim card to your provider and they can make you a sim card to fit your new phone.

How can you fix arejected sim card?

If the card is rejected by the provider, you can't solve that without the help of the provider. If you did put a sim in a sim locked phone, you first should unlock the phone. This only works if the contract allowed you to unlock. For that you also have to contact the provider where the phone came from.

Sim card for iphone 3g?

Yes, provided the iPhone 3G is not locked with any other different network. If it is then, you need to unlock the iPhone. To unlock an iPhone the remote unlock service would be a better option because, you need not give your mobile to someone else nor do you have any chance to enter the wrong unlock codes. To get such an unlocking service for your iPhone 3G approach Wickedunlock.com and by submitting the country and network to which the mobile is locked to you will be able to remove the restriction from the respective network. This will be a permanent unlocking solution. Once unlocked you can swap networks. The iPhone 3G supports Mini sim...and hence insert the respective sim size.

I just activated a prepaid AT&T sim card in a cheap phone that I got at walmart. Once activated I put the sim card in my iPhone 3GS. For some reason it keeps saying mo service so I restored the phone and...

Your phone has a serial#,the IMEI.It's an anti-theft solution as well as a way for the manufacturer to not let you do exactly what you're trying to do,upgrade your phone without paying them.
When you activated the phone,it paired the Sim card# with the IMEI so that putting the card in a different phone won't work. That"s where "no service" comes from.
But go to the link, find your phone model and read the instructions on how to "unlock' the IMEI so you can use the new Sim.

Locked SIM

You can either return to the carrier and request a SIM unlock. However, in most cases you will need a new SIM card to resolve the problem.
