Question about Cameras

1 Answer

I'm so sorry but I really am NOT a gadget person and I'm stuck at the office with my camera and it's New Year's Eve and I just want to know which is my battery level indicator as I seem to have more than 1 battery-type shape on my screen?! HELP! :( *embarrassed and probably run-down* HAPPY NEW YEAR! Cheers, R-J :)

Hi Tina,
I feel your pain. No. Not really. But have faith. I've enclosed a Battery Symbol illustration that I just
drew myself. Take a look at it. There will be something on the screen of you camera that
will look like this.
Happy New Year,
Mark

The lens cover that opens when you turn the camera on gets stuck and you have to bump it to open it all the way

Hi,
There is a little mechanical displacement in your gadget.. I personally thinks that you should get it serviced. coz that displacement is putting pressure on your motor. which may damage after some time...
Hope this has helped you... Please rate the answer.. Thanks.....

Camera was working fine, but suddenly battery life is short

dang I thought it was just me. I put so many brand new batteries in the camera, all kinds, no matter what it completely dead in about 2 minutes.. its frustrating b/c I got the camera last year as a xmas gift, so I really thought I was just an idiot when it came to operating the camera.. glad to know its just a crappy product; I still don't have a resolution though... sorry

Dust stuck under glass on the lcd screen of my d60

If you purchased your D60 new, you could sent it in to Nikon for cleaning but personally, I'd wait a while if it's not affecting the camera's functions. If you need warranty work within the first year, you can send the camera in for that work, and they'll clean under the LCD while servicing the camera.

I have a samsung i6 digital camera. I have been using it for 3 years without problems with a PC. Now I bought a MacBook. I copied the photos to the mac and chose the files on the camera and pushed delete...

Try an external usb card reader and let the card pop up as a drive on the Mac. You should be able to see everything. Just do not format the card or you will loose everything

Nikon coolpix L4 won't take pictures & turns off

I have the same camera & personally, I hate it. My camera does that all the time, sometimes, it takes a while for the picture to actually take. Try holding down the button for a while, that's what I have to do with mine. The camera sucks up all the battery energy with only a few picture takes which I really don't understand. I think that's also why it's cutting off while you're using it. Does the phrase, "Warning: Batteries exhausted" sound familar, especially right before the camera shuts off? Oh, & before I go, my personal advice to you is: Get a new camera. I don't even know why I bought mine, soon I'm getting a new one. Yay. I hope this helped you, sorry about the camera problems. Much luck! :D
