i think your phone is locked to your network and so it asks for your restriction code. i think your contract period for your phone expired. if you need to continue the plan you can contact your service provider for your continuation or you can end your contract through unlocking your phone. you can unlock your phone through codes. you can get the codes from here Classicunlocking.com to unlock your phone.

Where do i get the restriction code for my vodafone ireland pay as you go nokia 6303i handset?

Hi,

Restriction code will be provided by the service provider previously you were using. You need to contact them to get the restriction code. Its free of cost.DONOT get the restriction codes from online they are fake once.

Only your service provider can give it.This code is placed to prevent somebody taking your mobile and using other network in it.When you get the restriction code you need to give your information as on the data base that the previous service provider has and prove it as your mobile. then only they will give the restriction code.

Thanx

Hi, i have purchased a nokia E71 on Ebay which was described as unlocked. After recieving phone i put in a Vodaphone prepaid sim only to find call barring was activated.I then contacted seller to find he...

Hi

the default is 0000 or 1919 or 1234

Call barring
Call barring (network service) allows you to restrict the calls that you make and receive with your phone. To change the settings, you need the barring password from your service provider.
  1. Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Call barring.
  2. Scroll to the desired barring option, and to request the network to set call restriction on, select Options > Activate. To set the selected call restriction off, select Cancel. To check whether the calls are barred, select Check status. To change the barring password, select Edit barrings passw.. To cancel all active call barrings, select Cancel all barrings.
So try contacting your Vodaphone customer service and ask for the call barring code, see if it opens up with a code that they give.
