I found their web site (finally) but they don't have the drivers for the DC1130 on their web site yet. I sent them an email asking when they would have them up. This is their web site:

Dvd cd rom not working

you can try to use a cleaning CD. It is a special package you can find in all electronics shops. If after that still doesn't work, you can go to your vendor if you still have warranty, else, change the drive. it ain't much you can do to fix a broken CD-DVD drive.

I used the one on the disc, but it says invalid.

I'm assuming you're talking about the CD key you got with your operating system. If the seal wasn't broken when you purchased it, and the CD-key still didn't work, you can return the complete package to the retailer where you purchased it for an exchange or an in-store credit. But keep in mind that a lot of stores have no-refund policies for computer software with open packaging.

You've got an expensive unit (see below for Press Release), with a built-in CD/DVD reader/writer.
Given that your unit could be six years old, it's possible that the reader/writer has "died".

It seems to be a "stand-alone" unit -- not something that requires either Mac OSx or Windows XP/Vista/7 to operate.

I'm guessing that _ANY_ IDE (not 'SATA') HP-brand reader/writer, provided that it has a "LightScribe" capability, could be purchased, and could be inserted to replace the "dead" reader/writer. For about $100, it's worthwhile to try this "substitution" to revive your unit.

Cd-rom has write in different format

try a CD or DVD from a different package to make sure your CDs were not defective,
try to use your cd on a fairly new pc, if it is seen as empty your dvd writer is broken and has to be replaced. it's cheap about 20$
You only need to take it out and see if it has a IDE(large) or SATA(smaller) connector to replace it with one that has the same connector.

CD for hardware was broken

If you input the manufacturer and part number on google you should be able to come up with a download for the software... Often the manufacturers website will provide such things.

When a blank cd is put in screen says "NO AUDIO CD"

Make sure that the CD-R you're using is a "Digital Audio" CD-R. The distinction is marked on the packaging and on the disc. The packaging usually says "Music CD-R." The JVC XL-R5010 won't take data discs to burn music.
