Is there the option to uninstall? If so, try this, although it may only be a temporary fix because if you're using windows 7, it will automatically detect and install upon restart, although you may disable the automatic installation in CP

Dq50 mouse not responding

It could be that simple, but another thing could be a bad port on the computer's motherboard that you've got it plugged into. If it's a bad port then use a different one. To check for driverson Windows XP: Go to Start:> Right-Click My Computer:> Properties:> Hardware:>Device Manager
If you see a line that says "Mouse and Other Pointing Devices" and in it you see things like:
Logitech HID-compliant Cordless Mouse
Logitech-compatible Mouse PS/2\
That means you have drivers installed. Now if you see nothing or Error or Unknown, then its either not installed or installed incorrectly.

My dell keeps giving me error codes when i try and connect a mouse to my system whats the problem

Try going to the device manager: start>control panel>hardware and sound>device manager. Look for mouse/pointing devices tab and expand to show HID compliant mouse, right click on it and choose update driver, then click search automatically for updated driver software.

Every mouse i tried to plug to my laptop does not work

Click on Control Panel and then Add a Device. Try adding your mouse as a generic HID Compliant mouse. Windows will install a driver. Then go to the download page Microsoft Software Downloads
and find the appropriate driver for you mouse, download it and install.

Roll back the mouse driver:
1. Right-click [My Computer]
2. Select [Manage]
3. Select [Device Manager]
4. Locate your mouse on the right windows and press the +Mice ...
5. Right-click HID - Compliant mouse ( or whatever)
6. click [Properties]
7. In the "Driver" tab, Select [Roll Back Driver]

Mouse is now free from Microsoft trap....

98811 mouse wont work

The GE 98811 ergonomic Wireless mini mouse is a HID compliant mouse you will need to change the setting to use this mouse. This is what I would suggest:
Go to device manager
Go to the unknown device
Manually pick a driver
Mice and other pointing devices
***Change to a HID compliant mouse***
Then press the connect buttons on both pieces of hardware and the mouse should work
Hope this helps, it took me over two hours to get the mouse working. Very frustrating!!

Not able to install and use AMU02EU in vista

Vista says something along the lines of it can't find driver?
I had that happen with my new Targus wireless rechargable mouse.

Look in device manager, if it is listed as an UNKOWN DEVICE, you need to manually install driver as HID-compliant mouse.

Details:
Go to >Control Panel > System Select Device Manager from lefthand list.
There should be an "Unkown Device" in the list. To be sure, expand Mice and other pointing devices and see if your device is already there. Better yet, unplug mouse's receiver and the unkown device should go away.
Right click on the unknown device, and choose Update Driver Software... select Browse my computer for driver software then Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer then you need to find Human Interface Devices and subcategory HID-compliant mouse.
Vista tends to try and install these devices as USB mice when they should be HID.

Driver

The original driver that came with the mouse is useless in Vista. You can however get the basic functions to work if you make sure that the mouse settings in the "Device Manager" are set to show that you are using an "HID" compliant device. Also, in my case, when I tried to install the mouse on my laptop, it was showing up in "DM" as an "other" category as an "unknown" device. I just selected the "unknown" device, clicked on properties and updated the driver using the automatic function and that got mine working for me. Once I succeeded to get the mouse working, the "other" category dissapeared. I do not know if it switched to the "mouse" or the "HID Devices" category nor do I care now that it works.

** DO NOT waste your time looking for the old driver or a new driver! There are no updated drivers or software for this mouse to be used in Vista nor will there ever be. That info come straight from Micro Innovations.

Good luck and keep trying different settings in Device Manager until you succeed.
