Check all power outlets and cableing ,might be a fuse or the power switch

you could (with the power cord UNPLUGED) turn the saw blade by hand and see if it starts after pluging it, if it does this meens the saw has a DEAD SPOT on the moter's armature it needs to be fixed by a proffessional

good luck!

Check to make sure that the tool didn't trip the circuit breaker --- make sure that you have voltage to the outlet.

well it is possible that the on/off trigger switch is bad or that the plug wire itself is bad. ( I have ran into this type of problem before and I checked it with a meter and found that one of the wires inside the plug had become undone -- I bought a new plug and wired it up and all is good now ) --- it is also possible that the motor is bad and needs repair. ALSO -- look closely on the tool and see if there is a small push button breaker that may have tripped itself,, if there is then all you need to do is push it in and that will reset the circuit.
if you do not have a meter to test the plug and wiring or do not want to tear into the unit -- you might think about dropping it off at a repair shop and see what they say the problem is,, better safe then sorry.

Craftsman Miter Saw stopped working

Are you plugged into a GFI receptacle? If so maybe you have to reset the GFI. I would also check for loose wires on the switch or plug and make sure your cord is good.

I have a bosch 1587 vs jig saw i got used. I don't know how to install a blade. I have never had one like this. I turned the top handle the way the diagram showed but I don't think something is working.

In most models at the blade shuck holder is a screw that thigh the blade, unscrew it and change your new balde .
Also Go to this LINK and find the part/diagram that can help you.

Please thumbs back if help is fine, thanks!.

I have a Skil 10'' table saw that will not power on.

If your switch is in the base of the machine, like some portable table saws. The switch may be full of saw dust. I hade one that the reset switch couldn't be pushed to reset because the housing was packet with saw dust. I simply opened the cover and vacuumed it out. If you open your switch box up and it is clean inside, your switch is probably bad. You can check it by taking the two wires off your switch (with the saw unplugged of course) and taping them together, if the saw works when you plug it back in, get a new switch.DON'T use your saw wired this way.

Bosch Miter Saw Turned On By Itself

A ghost in the machine?
That sounds like a good one for Bosch tech support. I've never heard of any saw doing that, and I bet they'd be interested to know about it...
All I can imagine is a short in the switch, some kind of power surge you weren't aware of, or a practical joke.
At any rate: Contact Bosch: http://www.boschtools.com/Service/ContactUs/Pages/default.aspx

My table saw will turn on, but sounds very loud

Possibly bearing wear, or the blade rubbing against the guard/housing. Unplug the saw and spin the blade slowly by hand, if it feels notchy then I would suggest bearing wear. if it only seems to feel notchy in places then it could also be damaged gears.
