Question about LG 26LC2D 26 in. LCD Television
Right now the 5vdc standby power supply is working but not the 12vdc (for sound) and the 24vdc (for the backlights). This can be due to bad 12v/24vdc power supply sections due to bad caps with leakung/bulging tops or failed circuits, or it is not getting the PSON command from the main board, or the backlights inverter board is shorted out so it causes the 12/24vdc to stay in shutdown mode (you will have to disconnect the cabels to the inverter board to see if the 12/24vdc will come back on, you will get sound but no pictures).
Please read my guide to get more understanding about LCD TV.
