Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

click on parts and you can navigate from there.

Binding adjustment

There is (should be) a screw visible on each of the toe and heel pieces when looking down from directly above. That screw will adjust the height of the piece that clamps down on the top of the tabs on the heel and toe of your ski boots. For proper height measurement, use a credit card (or similar thickness card) and make sure you can somewhat freely slide the card side-to-side under your boot when it is in the binding and clamped down as when you are skiing. Too much play, and you will feel a sloppyness while skiing. Too little and you risk the binding not releasing properly caused by stiction. You can find demonstrations on YouTube also.

The binding sticks in the open position every so often, so that the ski falls off - any fixes for this?

Take them to a ski shop before skiing them again! It could just be incorrect fitting (adjustment) to your boots, but it could also be a sign the binding is about to fail permanently. You don't want that to happen as your heading for a tree or rock!

The locks work fine when there's no gear loaded, but when i put my boards onto the rack the locks won't turn. any suggestions?

sounds like a pressure issue ( binding problem ) --- when you go to lock the locks ( with the skis and/or snowboard on rack ) try and push down hard on the rack while you turn the locks,, this might get the pressure off enough to allow the lock cams to pass. if this does not work then the next thing to do is to file down and modify the lock cams so they turn easier without binding. if you do not have the tools to do this modification then you can always go down to your local locksmith shop ( with the skis/snowboard on the rack ) and have them do the modifications -- the shop will only charge you around 10 to 15 dollars for this service.
I hope this helps,

Refinish the top side of K2 skis?

If there is major damage that could affect the structure of the ski there is really no one who can fix it and i wouldn't continue skiing on them. If you are just trying to make the skis look nice on top try any oil based cleaner if that doesn't work give them a thin coat of epoxy. why does the condition of the tops of the skis matter anyway?

HOW TO ADJUST tyrolia SL 100 ski bindings

With click bindings on ski's or snowboards it's best to take to authorized service because if you adjust the release to work with to much or to little pressure your gonna end up dropping into a powder run and instantly losing your skis or getting hurt when they don't release under lot's of pressure plus it's based on factor's such as your weight. But you might be able to hit up the service tech to show you how to adjust them yourself so you don't have to pay, and you could probably find a manual on-line but I'm recommending to go to the tech.

I recently bought Mantra 184. I am going to use Dynafit bindings. Do you think I should respect the factory binding mark or should I fix it back a little ?

How did you end up mounting the Dynafits on the Mantra? How do you like the set up? Thinking of doing the same?
please let me know, mmm245@nau.edu

Vertical adjustment on front binding. Salomon S810 Ti

If you can adjust vertical pressure then you should adjust it as follows.
Put a piece of normal paper (like A4 printer paper) on the toe bit (and heel for that matter) and clip in the boot so that the paper sits between the boot sole and the binding base surface. You should be able to pull the paper out from between the boot and binding without ripping the paper, but obviously without there being a noticeable gap.
If in doubt take it to a ski tech, a bit of cash might save you a broken leg! They might even be able to help you or advise free of charge.
