Question about Sony NWZ-E436F MP3 Player

1 Answer

I have a mac and I wanted to know if there was any way to delete songs from my sony NWZ-E436F ipod because when I go into the ipod on my computer to delete, it won't let me. I know that it's compatible with Windows, but is it with Mac as well or would I have to download some type of special software for it?

Open finder, and look on the left pane. It should appear under "Devices", just like a flash drive or a hard drive. You can drag songs into that folder from finder.

My sony walkman nwz-e436f is full of songs but is now telling that no songs are available for playback. Is there anything I can do, I have already tried to reset but nothing happened.

It appears that your walkman is still turning on. When you connect it to your computer, check windows media player and look if it recognizes your walkman. If it is not recognized. look it up from windows explorer as a removable device, and take it from there.

No album art displayed on certain albums.

I have the exact same problem with a 16GB (NWZ-S545) and using Windows Media Player 11. I've tried deleting the songs off the player, manually adding album art for the songs and putting them back on but it still will not display album art for certain albums. There is a folder on the walkman (My Computer\WALKMAN\Storage Media\Albums) that contains all of the album covers even some of the ones that do not display. I'm thinking that something goes wrong when you first transfer the music and then it never can be corrected. Possibly formatting the player and adding everything back in will fix the problem but that is something I want to avoid if at all possible. Let me know if you figure anything out. Thanks.
