No, internal battery is NOT accessible. Leave it plugged for about 4 hours until it says "battery charging" and then 'battery charged' on the display. THEN give it a try to power up by holding down the power button for about 2 seconds. Let me know if this works for you.

Several things can cause this....First, take a voltage reading of your power adapter. Look underneath the laptop and check what voltage should be to power it. Some of them will also list the amperage. It is very important to have a power adapter with at least the same amount of amperage necessary to power it on.
Some Dell laptops have two different power adapters. One to use without the docking station, and the other with the station. The docking station adapter will have a higher amperage than the other. You can use the higher one when the laptop is off the station, but you can't use the lower one when the unit is docked.
If the power adapter checks out ok, remove the battery and try turning on the unit with just the adapter. If it powers on, your battery is shorted. Is there any lights that are lit on the laptop?
If so, check and make sure that the memory is seated or that one of the chips has not gone bad. If it has two, remove one and try it. Then do the same with the other. Next remove the hard drive and try and power on the unit. Please let me know your results from what I have suggested. Good luck.

How can i update dell dock?

A docking station is an extension or addition of ports for a laptop computer. Once the portable computer is docked, you can access the docking station's ports, such as PS/2 or USB 2.0 ports, through your computer. Some docking stations have monitors that you can connect your computer to, placing your video on an external screen so you can turn off your computer's monitor and conserve some of your computer's energy. All Dell docking stations will have the same general troubleshooting steps.

Plug your laptop's power adapter into the docking station and dock your laptop onto/into the docking station. If there is no power going to your laptop from the docking station but it works when the power adapter is plugged into the wall, the docking station is bad and needs to be replaced. Plug your power adapter into the docking station and dock your laptop onto/into the docking station. If power goes on but your computer doesn't recognizes accessories such as a USB mouse--plugged into the docking station, try a different port on the station. If it works in a different port, the previous USB port is burned out. Plug your power adapter into the docking station and dock your laptop onto/into the docking station. If power is going through the docking station but no accessories are being recognized, you might have a corrupted docking profile. Undock the computer and dock it again once it has fully started up to reset the docking profile. Plug your power adapter into the docking station and dock your laptop onto/into the docking station. If you have an external monitor and it is not working, completely close the lid on the laptop so the image will move to the external monitor. Plug your power adapter into the docking station and dock your laptop onto/into the docking station. If power is going through the docking station but no accessories are being recognized and resetting the docking profile fails, update all drivers through Dell's support website and then re-dock the computer. Some of the software that runs the hardware may have become corrupted. Hope this helps

Remove Any Docking Stations or Port Replicators From the Computer Note: Docking stations and port replicators are optional equipment. If you are unsure if you have a docking solution attached to your computer, refer to Table 1 and Table 2 for examples. To remove the docking station or port replicator, perform the following steps: Shut down the computer. Remove the docking station: Universal Docking Stations: Disconnect the docking station's USB cable from the computer. D/Port or D/Dock: Remove any cable locks from the security slot on the right side of the docking station. Move the slide lock forward to the unlocked position. Press the Eject button and lift the computer from the docking station. C/Port II or C/Dock II: Remove any cable locks from the security slot on the left side of the docking station. Dell D610 only can run on battery, not accepting AC power or from my docking station. I check the PA-12 AC charger and is working fine with other D610. Please help.

If not powering from DOCK, AC adapter and only from battery, since the Battery, DOck and adapter are known good, it is a matter of a motherboard replacement

D630 docked , ext mouse & kybd not responding

If the docking station has power:

Make sure power is off for both the laptop and the docking station. Plug your keyboard and mouse into the docking station. Dock the D630 to the docking station and then power on docking station. This should then turn on your D630. Your D630 should detect the keyboard and mouse.

If the docking station has no power:

Verify that the power cord, AC adaptor, etc. is plugged in. If the items listed seem to be in order,
there may be a problem with the power going into the docking station. (AC adaptor?)

support.dell.com will have the specific details for your D630 and your docking station, et al.

Please let me know if you have success in this.

Battery/docking station ac power

There is no manual way to switch from battery to AC, the machine or docking station should automatically switch between battery and AC. There is a power management chip inside the laptop that regulates the power and switches from battery to AC when plugged in. Some docking stations have a chip built into them to do this. Start by ruling out the power supply. Do this by undocking the laptop and plug it in using the power supply that is attached to the docking station and see if the machine is just running off of battery. If it is running off battery, then check the power supply with an ohm meter for the proper output. The output readings are on the supply. If you have two power supplies, and you know one works with the machine, try that supply on the docking station. If the power supply checks good, then I'm afraid the pm chip on the motherboard has gone out. You will need to take this in to have it professionally diagnosed, because it could be a replaceable component that works in conjunction with the pm chip. However, if it is the pm chip, then the motherboard will have to be replaced in order to fix it.
