    Try this:
    1. Unplug all LAN cables from the router.
    2. Unplug the router power cord connector from the back of the device.
    3. Using
a paper clip or something similar that will fit into the reset hole,
press continue to hold the reset button, then carefully reinsert the
power cord, making sure not to release the reset button in the process.
    4. Continue to hold the reset button in for at least 15 seconds
after inserting the power cord, then release it. After about 10-25
seconds the router will boot and it will be set back to the original
    factory default settings.
(By default the password on the router is left blank, and the default IP address is 192.168.2.1)

Resetting the 4-Port Router to factory default:
    1. With
the router powered on, press and hold the reset button for exactly
seven seconds, this will restore the router to factory default.
    This
    also applies to: F5D5230-4 4-Port Cable/DSL Gateway Router, F5D6230-3
    Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway Router (11Mbps), F5D6231-4 802.11b Wireless
Cable/DSL Gateway Router, and F5D7230-4 Wireless G Router Resolution.
(Note: By default the password on the router is left blank, and the default IP address is 192.168.2.1)

Find password for my belkin 109 media routor

There are two passwords:
1. to login to the router's internal web-server;
2. the password for the router's wireless network;

If you know the first password, you can login to the router and change (but probably not view) the second password.

If you do not know the first password, you need to "factory-reset" the router. The method for doing this depends on which router you have. This restores the "factory" password.

I need to reset my router password.

You will need to log into your router with the IP Address, userid and password, then you can change the router password.

You do realize that the Router Password just lets you get into the router to make changes to it.

The Wireless Password is what allows people to connect their wireless devices or laptops to the internet via the router. If you need to change the wireless password then once you get into the router go to the wireless tab or wireless security and change it.

The manual will give you the router's IP address, default userid and password. Also it might be on a sticker on the side or bottom of the router. The wireless password or network key might be on it also.

If you need the manual go to Belkin's website.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Belkin Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Look for Manuals throughout the site.

Below is a direct link to their site where you just plug in your model number.

Wanna know how to secure my belkin wireless G router.

Setting the router's administrator password

All Belkin Router's ship without an admin password. If you require an admin password then follow the below instructions.

Setup steps:

  1. Connect the computer to one of the four LAN ports on the router.
  2. Open a web browser on the computer.
  3. In the address bar of the web browser, type http://192.168.2.1
  4. Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click Submit.
    login.jpg
  5. Click on System Settings under Utilities on the left-hand side of the opened page.
    systemsettings.jpg
  6. You will see a feature called, "Administrator Password". Type in your current password (default leave blank).
    .adminpwd.jpg
  7. Click "Apply Changes". Your new password is now active.

Note: Do not forget the new password and keep it somewhere safe. If you forget your password, you'll be unable to access your router's settings. If you forget or lose your password, you'll need to "Perform a hardware reset on the router". This will reset the password to its default, as well as erase any and all other settings you may have changed
