I've dealt with portable master passwords on Dell systems, but not HP systems, but I'm pretty sure the technology is the same.

To reset an lost/unknown administrative password will likely require a call/chat with HP Technical support.

At Dell, you have to prove you own the system, and after that they generate a master password to access the system. Hopefully, you can get the same kind of service from HP.

Enter password when turned on msi notebook

There are many password options on computers.Windows PasswordDisk Encryption passwordHDD password (Set in BIOS)BIOS config password (Set in BIOS)Boot password (Set in BIOS)

If you have your boot order to boot to CD/DVD before HDD then you can download the Hiren Boot CD, burn it to disc and use one of the BIOS password wipers available.

Alternate method, some laptops will be easier than others. You can open the laptop up and remove the CMOS battery for about 30 seconds to reset all BIOS settings to defaults. The battery will look like a watch battery but about the size of a quarter. or a round disc with a couple wires coming out. Google "CMOS battery for images" Start by openingn the back panels and you may get lucky and have easy access to the battery or you may need to remove either the front or rear body completely.

Bios password remove

Basic input/output system, or BIOS, is an interface to start and load the operating system. Making changes to the BIOS will change the way the operating system operates. Sometimes to make changes to the BIOS, you will have to enter the BIOS password. If you have forgotten the password, you can bypass it.
1.Download and install a BIOS utility such as CmosPwd or KillCMOS (see Resources). These utilities will remove BIOS passwords provided you are in MS-DOS or Windows mode.
2.Locate the jumper switch on the laptop's motherboard. You can identify the jumper switch by CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, JCMOS1, CLR, CLRPWD, PASSWD, PASSWORD, PSWD or PWD label. Once you have found the jumper switch, remove it and place it over the pin that is not covered.
3.Locate and remove the CMOS battery for at least 5 minutes. This will reset the BIOS password. Then enter the generic BIOS password to enter the BIOS.
I hope you find it very helpful. Thanks.

How do I clear the Bios password on a toshiba satellite L305D-S5974. When it boots I get a blue enter password screen. I tried to short B500 leads under the memory but it does nothing. Any body know the...

There is no backdoor password, you'll have to take it to an authorized Toshiba repair center.

You can find one here.

They usually charge about 100 to remove the password, BUT if you keep insisting that you didn't set the password they'll probably remove it for free shhhh ;)

I am failing to remove the Bios password in Dell Latitude D630

This should be pretty easy to do.
1. Reboot your laptop and select F2 to go into the BIOS settings. You'll need to be quick or it will boot to Windows.
2. Use the --> arrow key to move to the Security page.
3. Arrow down to the Set HDD password and press Enter
4. Enter your current password
5. Select the Enter key twice to enter no password
6. Select the F10 key to save and exit.

Password on bois

When I lost my windows password, I like to reset Windows Password with Windows Password Reset 9.0 and I think it is excellent and professional!
Once the password is removed, there is no need to type any passwords but to leave it blank, and click the user name to instantly log on Windows.

There is a company called pwcrack online that maybe able to help you out. If they can't help you would have to replace the motherboard which is not very econmical to do so.
