There's a "high water" warning buzzer built into the unit. Check your levels.

What would be the probable cause of a sony vaio fs830/w of starting up & the 3 green leds on top stayed lit

You were FORMATTING it? Meaning... you were erasing the operating system? If that's the case, then... you have no operating system and the computer cannot boot up because it has no operating system to boot into.

Electrolux Dishwasher model EIDW6105GS1A, heavy light on, won't start. Turned off circuit breaker for dichwasher and the light turned back on and it won't start still. No lights on behind kickboard to show...

Good Morning Kim,

I see that the heavy light is staying lit on your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EIDW6105GS1QA, even after resetting your appliance at the circuit breaker. I also see that there are no lights lit up behind the kickboard, indicating what might be failing. It could possibly be the control board underneath your dishwasher. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine what is causing the heavy light to stay lit. I hope this is helpful.

We had a power outage. now the spk keeps buzzing but furnace wont start. There is flame at the pilot, I can see it. But it won't start the main heater. eventually the PLT message comes on.

The 'thermocouple' might not be working. Is the pilot light staying lit? The therm. sends a millivolt signal to the control insuring a pilot is lit.

Kirkland outdoor heater will not stay lit

The thermocouple is bad. That is the part right next to the pilot light that sense's the flame and hold the gas valve open to the pilot. Take the old thermocouple off and go to hard ware store and get a 18" one of what ever length you need and replace. 5 dollar part.

Will not start

Hi There,
I just wrote and now that I got your second message this is exactly how the faulty coil pak acts.
The car will get you from point A to point B but when you get back in the car and try to start it, it just cranks over. But wait awhile and it will start again! For $50.00 try a new coil pak, chances are this just might solve the problem. And by the way, your check engine light is not connected to the coil pak, that is usually an emissions problem and you can deal with that later. Please let me know if this helps you and thank you for using FixYa!

N64 and expansion pak whoas!

If your husband plugged it in without turning it off, the jumper pak, or the control deck itself is more than likely fried. Check and see if the control deck will work with the memory pak, instead of the jumper pak inside it. If not, the control deck is fried, and you'll need to buy another N64.
