Question about Canon PIXMA iP1200 Photo Printer
I've encounter this problem once on my printer too. i simply change the chord which connects from the printer to the computer with a new one. the problem maybe on the chord. hope this will help you.

If this is not the case, you will need the driver installation media from the manufacturer or you will need to download the appropriate driver from the Internet.

Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken .
