MY DID PLAYER STOPPED READING MY DVDS

No! the only thing you can try is unplug from wall receptical, remove the battery and hold down the power button for 60 seconds in hopes it will reset and try again. If this fails the laser pickup assembly will need to be replaced or buy a new unit, "best option" far cheaper to replace.

Hi,

Please follow the below steps and check if that resolves the issue:

  1. Press down on and hold the "Power" button on your Philips GoGear MP3 player.
  2. Press down on and hold the "Volume Up" button on your Philips GoGear MP3 player. Continue to hold both of these buttons down for three consecutive seconds. The MP3 player will turn itself off.
  3. Press and hold "Power" until your Philips GoGear MP3 player turns itself back on. Your GoGear will no longer be frozen and you can use it as normal.
If you require further assistance then please revert back.

Back up all your music first. Then hold down the play button and power on your device. This should enter it into a recovery screen for factory settings.

My blue ray player continues to say "please wait"

My blue ray player is having the same issue. I called the LG support tech and these are the instructions I got.

1) turn power off
2) unplug the machine from the outlet and leave it unplugged for 10 to 15 minutes
3) after waiting 10 to 15 minutes and with the machine still unplugged from the wall, hold the power button on the machine down for 20 seconds
4) plug in and turn power back on

If this does not work, unit is defective and would need to be returned for repairs.

Unlock code for dvdplayer LG RC 195

Hello,
You may want to copy and paste this into notepad or another writer program, save it and print it so you have it in hand and have read and understand the sequences as they are rather involved for your player.

This is from VideoHelp.com

[quote]
Turn on TV and player, press home key on player remote; in setup, scroll down to the padlock icon (when you get to the "padlock" option on your remote, leave it there, don't go to the menu to the right which has three options--rating, password, area code. Leave it on "lock", press 0000000 and you will be region free.

That's seven zeros.

If the above sequence doesn't work try this other process below.
[quote]
Press the HOME button on the remote, go to Setup and select Start. From the TV options go to TV Aspect and highlight the 16:9 Wide option (must be 16:9 0ption). Now enter 1397139 using the number keys to access the system configuration information.

To change the values of these options hit the ENTER button and then use the left/right arrow keys to select OPTION 5. Change it's current value to ff using the up/down keys. Now power off with the remote and then power back on. Your recorder should now be region free. To check go back into the system configuration information where Region Code should now be 0

When I try to eject my music CD, the display says "Lock" and the CD will not eject.

I turned the player off, then while holding down the STOP button, I pressed the power button. The player made a click noise, but it did not turn on. It must have been resetting or unlocking the player because .... Then, I let go of the STOP button and turned the player on. I was then able to eject the CD. I found this solution somewhere in the posts on your website. Thank you!
