I am having the same problem. The display light is out and when i use a battery, it will come on for a few minutes and it goes off. I have tried everything. Guess its time to replace it.

Sorry, the above link is bad. Here is the correct link. You will need Abobe Acrobat Reader, as it is a .pdf file. You will also have to use the magnifier feature to view the fine print.

SOURCE: GE Alarm clock

you probably have it on "wake up cd track", in the front, press the wake 1, or wake 2 button (depending on what the alarm is set on) until the little bell is on the side, that should make it ring, louder and louder :)

I have model #7-4837B AM/FM radio alarm clock. User manual has been misplaced and I am unable to disable the alarm.

On the top of the alarm clock is a CANCEL button. Press the button and the light next to the WAKE MODE indicator on the front of the clock will begin to flash. Press the WAKE MODE button on the top of the clock. The WAKE MODE indicator will go out and the alarm is off. If you want the alarm back on just press the WAKE MODE button again.

GE doesn't make this kind of product any longer but
on their site they say to call 1-800-447-1700 for assistance. Maybe someone there can find a copy of the instructions for you.

To turn the ‘weekend cancel’ feature off you must press and hold the ‘weekend cancel’ button for about three seconds. Afterwards, the ‘weekend cancel’ display will start to flash. When it stops flashing (about three seconds later) release the button. To turn the feature back on, simply press the ‘weekend cancel’ button once again.

Cannot turn off the alarm on my RCA clock radio rp5430

Look at the display. Look for a number 1 or a number 2 to determine which alarm is on. If you see a number 1, push the 1 button on the top right side of the alarm clock until the number light goes off (1 or 2 times, depending on whether it is set to beep or radio alarm). When the number is not lit up, the alarm is off.
