The motor that runs the ice dispenser is not running.

I have a PSC23SGR Stainless Steel Side by Side Refrigerator. When water is selected, it dispenses properly. When ice is selected, the indicator light comes on properly. However, when the dispenser lever is pressed, there are no motor sounds, no ice is dispensed and the indicator light dims. Is there an easy way to determine if the problem is in the circuit board or in the motor?
