Hi,

It's highly likely that the flood-protection (Aqua-Stop) system on your dishwasher has been activated. This is usually due to water having leaked under the washing compartment or a faulty sensor / float switch. It could also be caused by a faulty control module.

The first thing you should do is to check for water under the washer. Turn the power off at the breaker first, then remove the kick-plate from beneath the door (remove two screws) and have a look inside the base of the washer (use a torch if necessary). If you can see water in the bottom, then you have a leak which requires further investigation.

You can also check for water by removing the dishwasher from under the counter and tilting it forwards or backwards slowly by about 15-20 degrees. If there is water in the bottom, it will run out on to the floor so it is also advisable to put some old towels down on the floor before doing this.

Please note: The washer is heavy and the bottom can slide out if you tilt it too far. For this reason, it is safer if there are two people doing this.

Please check for water under the washer first and then post back for further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

Why does the fuel pump relay don't click when i turn the key to run? and why there is no power at the fuel pump relay?

the operation of most fuel pumps is controlled by the fuel pressure regulator
when the fuel pump gets to set pressure , the pump is switched of by the ECM at the relay level
maybe nothing wrong with your system just the system working as designed
if you have pressure in the fuel manifold when you turn the ignition on then the pump will not run but will if there is a fuel leak somewhere and the pressure drops off

How do you backflow a pool pump?

I assume you mean backwash the filter. The pump will always pump in one direction.

I am also assuming that you have a sand filter with a filter control valve.

If your filter's waste discharge needs a hose attached to route the discharge to a ditch or other suitable location, be sure to attach the hose before beginning this process.

Turn the pump off. Set the filter control valve to the backwash position. Turn the pump on and run for 30 sec to 1 minute until the water being discharged looks clear. If your filter control valve has a Rinse setting, turn the pump off, set it to Rinse and run the pump for about 30 sec. Turn the pump off. Set the Set the filter control valve back to Filter and turn the pump back on.

My polaris PB4-60 booster pump does not turn over.

I was able to save a service call by doing the following in under 8 minutes:
1.Switch off electric to pump.
2. Turn off valve on supply side of pump so water does not flow during this procedure.
3. Turn offf filter.
4. Unbolt the six bolts (1/2" socket) on the front side of the pump.
5. Carefully separate the pump from the front panel which contained the six bolts.
6. Grasp with both hands the black round thin disk (impeller) which is part of the pump and turn it either clockwise or counter clockwise. It may be slightly difficult initially but once it it freed it will move easily.
7. Reassemble.
8. Open valve and turn on filter and the power to booster pump.
Any questions e-mail me at bbgreg@optonline.net good luck
