There are several ways to resolve printer spooler error, probably because there are many variations of this error. The error caused by faulty software can be resolved by deleting all the information found in the directory. Thereafter, navigate to the Control Panel, click on Administrative Tools and then services icon. Find the service labeled Print Spooler, highlight it and restart the process. If that doesn't work, the program might be corrupted. Click on start, then Run. Search for the document labeled services.msc, and this will trigger the opening of another window. On this window, scroll down and click "Print Spooler". Check its setting and turn on automatic mode. Click Okay, and restart the machine. If you're lucky, this might be all you have to do. Still doesn't work? Navigate to the Add/Remove Programs screen of the Control Panel. Find the all the software responsible for making the printer run including the drivers, and uninstall them. Be sure to be thorough about it, or the problem may not be solved. Download the latest copy of your printer's software from the manufacturer and reinstall it.

Hi my printer will not print. it is saying printer spool error.

> spool error

S.P.O.O.L. == Simultaneous Peripheral Output On Line

The "spool" is a combination of disk-space on your 'C:' drive, and software to "accept" the print-image (as fast as MS Word can create the print-image), and save the print-image to disk-space,
so that MS Word can report "print completed", so that you can use MS Word, instead of waiting until the physical printing has completed.

Then, the printer-spooling software will read from the print-image file, and send it to the printer, only as fast as the printer will accept it.

Says needs paper, but has paper. I've turned it on and off, still says same thing.

Hello,

The spool of the printer has a job with a different paper size of the charged in the tray.

Delete the spool in the computer or in the printer. Ensure the size is 8,5x11" or A4.

Thanks.

Go to Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, Cancel any pending document on your Kodak Printer, then delete all kodak icons.
Turn off the printer, Unplug and Replug the USB cable, then turn on the printer. If nothing happens..
Second options: Click Start then select Run Type the word "net stop spooler" then "net start spooler" Then unplug and replug the printer while its on.

a print spool is a command that goes from your computer to your printer. you can modify this in the printer settings, by letting it print immediately.

also, you may want to grab some fresh drivers here

Now what to do

Hi Usually your printer spools are located in your printer properties. Have you tried deleting or uninstall the printer completly and reinstall. I'm wondering if maybe the printer drivers have been effected?.

The printer say there is no ribon but i put a new one and still it's not working

try to install again but this time make sure you follow the manual especially on step 5,6 and 7 I list down again the step from the manual 5: Load the new roll of print ribbon on the cartridge. ? Put the full spool of ribbon on the supply spindle of the ribbon cartridge. Push until the spool clicks onto the spindle. ? Put the empty take-up spool on the spindle with the solid black gear. Push until the spool clicks onto the spindle. 6: Replace the loaded ribbon cartridge in the printer. ? Make sure both spindles rest in the black supports on the left side of the printer. ? Make sure the ribbon cartridge handle rests in the supports on the right side of the printer. ? Make sure to install the full, new spool toward the card tray of the printer. 7 Close the printer cover. Press down firmly to latch it.

I don't think it is a printer problem as such more a communication problem. Un install the printer software. Close down the Computer. Unplug the printer. Start the computer. Come off line. Disable the A/V software. Run the installation disk only plug in printer when prompted Tell us what happens

"spooling" when printing TurboCAD image

Spooling is a PC thing not printer Printer spool is an area of reserved memory which collects date for the printer before sending off - it seems it is not big enough to cope with the image size you are dealing with. check out the Computer route to adjust the spool memory size.
