This touch 850 series double oven is only heating up to 170 when dial is on 350 do I have a bad element?

Elements usually either work or they don't, if it comes on the but does not give enough heat the thermostat is bad. If it was cleaned inside recently, check the routing of the stat lead perhaps its kinked etc.

Maytag gas oven has an F1 code. Model # CGR3740ADW.

The F1 code on a Maytag electric stove means the electronic range control, clock or touch pad is defective. You or a technician can do a test to determine which item is broken, but you must replace the electronic clock range in models where the touch pad and range control are one part.

I have an in the maytag gas oven that keeps beep and show f-1 when its shut off

This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range/oven Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when this error code is present.

1. Disconnect power to the range/oven (unplug the range/oven power cord or turn the power off to the range/oven at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range/oven has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC/EOC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If the code comes back and the beeping as well, replace the ERC(control board). If it does not, replace the touch pad.

Oven heats for 5 minutes then shuts off

The touchpad has a ribbon connector to the main control. Remove the control panel re-insert the touch pad ribbon into the main control tab. If it is not a bad connection the touchpad will have to be replaced.

Oven turning off

F3 - E4 Oven temperature sensor (RTD) opened (lower oven, if double oven). You will have to replace this failed sensor to restore normal operations. If your oven is a double version, it will be located in the lower part. If its a single range, it will be located in the oven compartment. The Oven Temperature Sensor has failed.

Please rate and god bless:)
