Question about Microwave Ovens
Well this gets surely straight, the problem is the LID. if at the start you had actually considered having it replaced ( i mean the whole unit) this would have been ok assuming it had warranty. If the lid doesn't close completely, the auto off fails to engage definitely. a technician would dismantle unit, check whether the lid lock mechanism has broken or is simply stuck and get you a quick fix.
