The pump has air in it and needs to be primed, or the filter is plugged.

My Aeware hot tub wont heat the water what is the problem?

Is the water pump delivering water to the jets? If not, then you may have an airlock. Prime the pump and check again. If you have water coming from jets but still no heat, then it may be time for a new heater section.

I have a Lanark double spa with a Onga 23930 pump. The jets are not working and we think that maybe the pump has air in it. It is possible the it took air in when I was cleaning around the spa controls and...

fill the tub with water and then turn the pump on. Get under the tub next to the pump and loosen the union on the discharge of the pump until some water starts coming out. If you have an air lock this will relief that and the pump should start pushing water to the jets.

Black debris is coming out of the jets when you start it up. What is this and how do I get rid of it. Thanks Gord

If the tub is more than 5 years old the rubber pump impeller could be disintegration.
If the debris just seems to be dirt then fill the tub above the intake with HOT water ... then add some dish washing detergent to the water ... run the pump about 1/2 to 1 hour

Hot tub keeps pulsating

Occasionally you will find that the jets pulsate rather than provide a steady flow of water. This is often the sign that the filters need to be cleaned or replaced. It could also mean that your water level has fallen so low that a mixture of air and water is being drawn form the tub. Top up the tub and see if that corrects the problem.

If the pump still doesn't provide a smooth flow of water you will have to check the filters. The best way is to turn the tub off and remove the filters. Run the tub for long enough to see if the flow from the pump has been smoothed out. If it has, clean or change the filters. Do not put the old filters back and continue using the tub-this could cause damage to the pump.

If the pump does not produce a smooth flow with the filters removed, there is the unlikely possibility of a blockage in the plumbing. Since the plumbing to be checked is around the pump it should not take too long to do.

With no blockage causing the problem the likely culprit is the pump itself or the electronics that control it. This is something that is best left to the experts.

Fortunately, most problems with hot tub jets are as easy to sort out as changing the filters or topping up the water level. A hard water problem should never arise in reality since a test of your water supply will have indicated that the tub required the water to be treated.

Fill tub, press button, hear motor but no bubbles, etc coming from jets

Are the jets open? The center of the jets turn to adjust the pressure of the jets. If this is not the problem, there may be a problem with the impeller in the pump assembly. If you here the pump turning and not buzzing, it could be an air bubble in the suction tube. This tube is the one coming from the front of the pump, if the pump is higher than the tube coming from the tub, or if there is a high spot in the tube, an air bubble is a real possibility. If the tube is level with the pump, there should be no problem with air bubbles and the problem lies in the top part of this paragraph.

Jet pump will not shutt off after I replaced heater relay. Tub is a hot springs landmark with an IQ2000 panel the year is also a 2000

it sounds like the pump relay may be stuck closed. Also check the temp readout, if it thinks the water is too hot it will try to cool the water by running the jets and sometimes the blower as well.

Hot tub will not stay warm

You must keep your circulator pump running if you want the water to stay hot. The water is being heated inside the pipes but it isn't getting circulated until you turn on the jets pump.
