Question about Hotpoint Dishwashers
Dishwasher won't dran during cycle.
Checked drain hose under sink at vent - clear.
Should I pull out unit to check other end of drain hose?
To check pump is ok, cancel cycle and restart - first action is to pump out.
could be that appliance is in fact sticking in cycle usually due to not heating so check if this is the case

Tips for a great answer:
Your dishwasher drains into the garbage disposal. It you tried to use a plunger to clear your clogged sink or run the disposal with to much junk in it you may have force debris into the dishwasher drain hose. With both the dishwasher and garbage disposal disconnect from power disconnect the dishwasher drain hose from the garbage disposal. This is usually about a one inch black hose. Clear out any debris in the hose and inlet nipple on the garbage disposal. If debris is compacted far down the hose it will need to be disconnected from the dishwasher end and remove to clear the blockage.
