If you can get to where the motor is..there should be a small plastic hose the inserts into motor...or plug...if you pull the hose off it should allow button to push out again

Hello Sheri Walker

Not finding a lot of answers in the USA... (sorry)...

The really good news is the air parts of these
switches are terribly easy to test.. Could just be a loose nut on the tubing...

Get jets unplugged

Cleaning your Tub
There are several options for cleaning the piping on a jetted bathtub.
The reason you have a residue on the bathtub surface when you are done bathing is because there is bacteria built up in the plumbing of the jetted tub. In order to remove that and reduce the amount of "yucky stuff" coming into the tub when using it, we recommend a regular usage of a jet cleaning product about once every couple of months
Here is a link to the cleaning products I can find right now. There may be other out there that I am not aware of but I do know these products work well in all jetted bathtubs.

American standard jet bath tub black particles coming out of jets

The problem you are experiencing is common to many jetted bathtubs. It is a result of dried bathing water in the tub. There are a couple of solutions to resolve this ongoing problem.
  1. Use your tub more frequently as the water will not have time to fester in the pipes.
  2. Use a cleaning solution made for cleaning the pipes on jetted bathtubs once every three months.

Regarding a 30x60 indoor jetted tub (Jacuzzi). When I push the on/off button, the pump slows down but then a few minutes later starts again on its own when there is no water. Any idea what is going

IF that is the one I recall, the switch is not connected to the tub. When you press the button, it sends air pressure to the switch under the tub to activate it;. You need to check the tubing and the switch

Jetted bathtub jet replacement

there will be pool and spar shops in the district that will have various spares or can get what you want
They will also advise you on how to fix /replace the faulty jets
jet tub manufacturers seldom use specific parts but opt for off the shelf generic parts to keep production costs down

Purchased new home with a swirl-way avalon jetted tub dont know how to start it please help

is there an air button on the top of the tub? if so that is what you would turn the pump on/off with. give it a push and see. if you do have a button to push like that then make sure the air tubing is hooked up to the bottom of the air button and the other end is hooked to the air switch in the back of the motor.
if there is NO air button to push and just the logo on the top of the tub then you will need to fill the tub with water, get into the tub and then touch the logo. that would turn an older Swirlway tub on/off.

I have a jetted tub that has not been used in years, but still worked until recently. When I went to use it you could push the button all the way in with no response from the motor. So just wondering if...

the button is an air switch, check the simple things first. your tub is connected to a gfi plug or breaker, try reseting the breaker first.next is the air hose from the button to the pump connected,is it split or have a hole in it. with the access door removed pump the button and listen for an air leak, if so remove hose just by pulling on it, most hardware stores carry the same hose and sell it by the foot.
