Question about Maytag Atlantis MAV6451 Top Load Washer
The most common cause of this is a fouled water inlet valve. There are screens to keep most of the sediment out of the valfe itself. These scteens are not made to be removed, and if you clean them, make sure you don't use anything sharp. If any of the sediment actually makes its way into the valve, it can cause a flood.
Best solution is to replace the valve.
