Question about Cell Phones
Welcome to Fixya
Here's the site where to download the software to your phone. If you have a memory card on the phone you will NOT need any kind of software to get the phone recoginsed on the PC. Simply connect the phone and it will we detected as a removable disk and than you drag and drop your data.
Thank you for using Fixya!

Actually, once you connect the Phone to your computer via USB cable, you should be prompted to select the connection type... eg.. USB or Data Storage Mode, PC Suite Mode, Print Mode etc.. This could be done even without any software, the reason is that Windows xp already has the usb driver installed. I don't mean you never need a software, but this is possible and you could open up the Phone's memory or Memory Card as you open a Pen Drive or etc...
You can also use the Lg Pc Suite to transfer and access all the contents of your phone. You can download the Lg PC Suite here (Click Here). Download and isntall it, after than connect your phone is Pc Suite Mode.
There's also a settings regarding USB connection, go into Settings and then check the PC connection settings under Connection settings.
If you have problem, let me know.
Thanks for using FixYa.
Happy New Year...
