When you say "mixer" I am assuming that you mean the kneading blade or paddle in the bottom of the pan. If that is not correct please let me know. If that is what you mean then you need to be aware that the paddle is designed to fit kind of loosely. As long as it is turning when the machine starts mixing that is all you want. They are designed to fit a little loose so that when the bread is done you can remove the paddle for cleaning. Sometimes the paddle comes off in the bread they sit so loosely on the spindle.
