Question about Maxent MX-42VM7 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
Unplug the unit for few minutes, say 15 minutes and then turn it ON. This would reset the TV. If the problem still remains, this would confirm an internal error and needs repair. There is an issue with one of the internal components/boards. If you have an electronics repair experience, would be able to read schematics and could keep precautions, i would be able to guide you to fix the TV.
Note - This is a dangerous unit to work on as even unplugged it could harm. This is not to scare you, however wanted to make sure that you should take all precautions before working on this unit.
This is highly suggestive of an issue with power supply board.
Let me know,so that we could proceed.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
