Question about LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer
Posted by Anonymous on
If you have a door error, you will need to replace the door latch. The easiest way to get at it is to remove the spring clamp around the outer surface of the door boot, remove the two phillips head screws holding the latch, unplug the electrical plug, and replace. This is easiest with a special clamp removal tool, but can be done without it. The latch can also be accessed from the top by removing the two screws on the bottom side of the plastic parts on the back of the top cover, then using the palms of your hands to sharply push the top toward the back about 2 inches, then lift the top up and off. Remember to disconnect power to the machine before dissassembly.
