Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

How to Fix Windows 7 cursor jumps backward while typing Outlook messages.

Well, technically it is not moving it backwards, it is moving the cursor to wherever the 'pointer' is.
You need to STOP resting your palm(s) on the Touchpad.

When you touch it, it will move the cursor to wherever the 'pointer' is....which is likely where you started typing.

You can also turn-off the touch-pad if you will be doing lots of typing. This is done by pressing [Fn] and [F3].

Window closes when i type

Looks like a keyboard problem, UNLESS the window closes without ever asking if you want to save changes. It takes three keystrokes to shutdown an unsaved document in Word, and it's unlikely that either you got all of them by mistake (a miracle!) or that the keyboard ghosted them.

So if the window closes without any warning, check in the Event Viewer (run EVENTVWR from the Start > Run menu) whether anything untoward happened in Application or System folders. If it did, react accordingly.

If nothing happens it's either a weird hardware problem, and you'd need to send the laptop back to Dell, or a just slightly less weird virus or malware problem (I'd suggest ESET NOD32 antivirus to be sure).

Words skip to different areas when I type

Hi :
The most common cause of this is your thumb or finger dragging on the touch pad on your laptop. Often it doesnt seem like you are doing anything, but i here this happening often. A good solution is to buy a nice wireless mouse. Most come with software that turns off the touchpad when you plug in the mouse. I have done this and never have the problem anymore!

Dell Mini 10 constantly sticks - especially on the internet. Scrolling through a page, or trying to type in address bar.

Do the following: ctrl alt delete Selcet task manager. Click on the processes. Check to make sure any extra process are running. Do not stop anything you are not sure of though.

My Dell Laptop suddenly started "skipping" or "stuttering" about once per second. During this split second, sound and video stop moving, and in one day I have lost over 10 minutes on my computer clock... ...

Please get your BIOS-CMOS battery changed asap (symptoms seems like this, you may confirm with your laptop vendor)

One question as well, have you installed any utility to overclock your processor or any related thing.

My media player is skipping on my Dell D600. It just started doing it

Try one of these solutions... should help you fix the problem.
1. System Restore (How to do? - Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System restore) .. Select a date when your media player used to work and restore the system.
2. Clear startup. (How to do? - Start > Run > Type in 'msconfig' > click ok to open the application, select the 'startup tab' and click on disable all, will stop startup apps... system will get a little fastser too)
