Check that the cold water is turned on. The washing machine uses cold water to rinse, and if the cold water is not on, unit will end without completing cycle.

When going to wash with my GW11 it stops during the was cycle and the cold and hot water light blink and the machine beeps

Hi just read your posting. Now, when the hot and cold lights flash at the same time it means that you are not getting enough or no hot or cold water.Remove the cold and hot inlet hoses from the machine end and put the ends into a bucket. Now turn the taps on to see if you have water coming out the hot and cold hose and if the water pressure is adequate.Try a cold fill on the wash cycle and see how it goes.please reply and let me know if there is water coming out of the hoses at a good pressure and also what water temp do you select on the wash cycle.Looking forward to your reply.

E70 flashing at end of wash cycle

Hi

Error code E70 means Cold water hose is connected to wrong faucet or Cold water faucet is not turned on. If this is not the case then check the cold water hose, whether it is kinked or plugged. If the hose is fine then the fill valve assembly has turned bad and you would need to replace the valve. Connect hose to cold water faucet and cold water inlet on washer. Be sure cold water faucet is fully opened. Hope this helps...

Washer rinse cycle won't fill with water just buzzes top loader roper model #RAX4232PQ0

Hi, this sound's like a faulty or clogged water valve. Do get the same symptom when selecting cold water in a wash cycle ? I suspect you will. Turn your water off, remove the cold water hose and make sure it is not clogged either at the valve end ( you may need to clean the fine screen ) or the tap end. If it's all clear, you will likely require a water fill valve. Original part number # 285805 and it is usually about $20-$25. Hope this was helpful to you. Thanks for visiting "fixya" today. Good luck, macmarkus :)

I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II, top loading washer. Upon intial start up the machine agitates. During the spin cycle, the cold water remains ON, throughout the cycle. This is leaving the clothes wet...

The timer is at fault.
During the spin cycle the timer should send intermittent power to the water valve. This activates cold to help rinse soap residue from the laundry.
If cold is continuous it means the timer is not breaking correctly.

There is something clogging your pump, dismantle it to clear it. Plug off the wall socket mains first.

Cold water will not shut off at end of spin cycle

electriic inlet valve is obstructed, try removing cold water hose direct the hose into a bucket and fill the tub on the warm setting (flushing the cold valve) then try the washer again ..If that doesn't work a new valve is needed

Whirlpool Duet washing machine - no cold water comes in when I put it on cold cycle

Check the tap is turned on
if not fix
turn off taps, check the lint screen inside the hose end (tap connector end) is not blocked
if not fix
check cable connections on cold water solenoid valve inside rear of case
if not fix
replace cold water solenoid.

cold water solenoid valve fails more often than hot, is used on every cycle so bnurns out first.
unplug washer and turn off water before checking cables or replacing solenoid.

solenoid is cheap, common to many washers local parts guy will have one that fits even if it is labelled ge frigidaire kenmore
