Can i get replacement ipod adapter for JBL radial micro?

I have the same problem, my dock was broken, but I got round it instantly by plugging my ipod into the speaker via the headphone port on the ipod and into the audio in port on the speaker. When new, the speaker actually came with a spare lead as you can plug any mp3 player into it this way. The sound quality seems exactly the same and I dont have to throw away the speakers. If you have lost the lead you need a 3.5 mm male to male headphone lead, just pence in any electrical shop or amazon.

There is a static noise coming from my ipods speakers and earphones

Thank you for your question.

It sounds like the jack on your iPod is a bit dirty inside causing static. Here are some things to try, assuming that your tracks are all stereo and none of them are mono tracks.

Try this:

  1. Power the unit off and the speakers off it they have a power switch.
  2. Get some rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.
  3. Pour a cap full of alcohol on the paper towel and grab the plug on your speakers.
  4. Twist the towel around tightly to clean the plug.
  5. Repeat this process on the earphone plug.
  6. Now take the speaker plug and push it in and out of the speaker jack about 20 times.
  7. Whatever you do, DO NOT pour any alcohol into the jack socket on the iPod itself.

If the problem continues, test your earphones and speakers with another product.

If they work fine, the jack in your iPod needs to be rewired.

If they don't work, then you may want to take your iPod, the speakers and earphones to your local Radio Shack store and show the Sales Associate what the problem is.

You may need to buy a stereo-to-mono audio adapter -OR- new headphones and new speakers.

If you still have problems after all of this, it may be time for a new iPod.

Creative SBS 2.1 370 Speaker - Volume Remote Controller not worki

Hi Arun!

Try to plug your speakers to an iPod or any MP3 Player to check if there's sound. If there is sound, then try plugging it to the green port at the back of your speakers.

If it doesn't have sounds then you need to buy a new speaker system.

make sure you have the cord plugged in to the DC IN 9V outlet in the speakers and not the audio in. Sounds simple but this is what I was doing wrong.

Esmurfette

First things First!
1) check on other speakers to see if your iPod work fine
2) check connector for loosing electric connectivity.
3) check with your headphones to see if your iPod play music well.
4) Check, power on the computer spk. you got. or the input that is working right.
Good Luck

if no light came from the speakers then something is corrupted inside them .. you have to check the power source and power cable of the speakers first ... if everything is fine then the speakers are corrupted from inside
