Question about Insignia 75W DVD/CD/HD Radio Compact Shelf System with USB Port
Entire system is frozen. Won't do a single thing.
I have the same problem. I got it to reset by removing the internal battery and letting it sit for a day. Unfortunately, when I push the remote buttons too fast it locks up again. It is a pain to remove the cover and pull the battery. I don't understand why the unit takes so long to respond to the remote but in the case of my unit you have to be sure you don't push them too fast or it will lock up. I just sent a email to the company via the link provided here. I am not expecting them to respond but we will see.

Similar to my own problem with the Insignia shelf system, which I was able to deal with more simply: add a plug with an on-off switch; when the system freezes, slowly switch to "off," then "on." This works well, though the basic problem remains quite annoying. Despite good audio quality, I would NOT buy another Insignia product. There are much better HD alternatives currently on the market.
