Question about Magellan Triton 1500 GPS Receiver
What you have to do when your gps device comes up with such a message is for you to reset your device. First check that the battery is properly charged, then you reset it by pressing the reset button that is on it. If that does not do the job. then you have to do the back up restore solution.
To do that, you have to connect your device to the computer that has its software, then you browse out the device using the computer page, then you format your device by right clicking on the device from the computer page, then you select format, do not use the quick start, format it normally, that way the whole software and applications on the device will be wiped out, then you reinstall your software back on it and try to load maps on it. After doing that, your device will work perfectly fine once again.
That should do the job.
