If it's changed you can reset it to the factory settings by pushing the reset button (with f.a. a paperclip) for about 20 seconds. After about 1 minute you can access the router via 192.168.2.1

To access the web base settings of your router, in an open internet explorer window type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 one of these should open a window asking for username and password. If you haven't changed these settings it should be admin for both.

Good Luck

I need to reset my router password.

You will need to log into your router with the IP Address, userid and password, then you can change the router password.

You do realize that the Router Password just lets you get into the router to make changes to it.

The Wireless Password is what allows people to connect their wireless devices or laptops to the internet via the router. If you need to change the wireless password then once you get into the router go to the wireless tab or wireless security and change it.

The manual will give you the router's IP address, default userid and password. Also it might be on a sticker on the side or bottom of the router. The wireless password or network key might be on it also.

If you need the manual go to Belkin's website.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Belkin Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Look for Manuals throughout the site.

Below is a direct link to their site where you just plug in your model number.

Have a Belkin N1 wireless router. Moved to new apt. and am about to setup the home network. Now I cannot connect to the router using Ethernet and using any of the 3 suggested 192.168.2.1 or 1.1 or 0.1....

If you're connected to the router via an ethernet connection you should have a valid IP address,
the IP address for your router USUALLY is the common 192.168.1.1, etc but you can find out what YOUR router's IP is by doing a simple IPCONFIG command.

If you're running Windows XP:
Press START, then "Run...", and enter "CMD" and press OK

If you're running Windows 7 or Vista:
Press START, then in the search box enter "CMD" and hit ENTER

This will open a command prompt, here you enter IPCONFIG and hit ENTER
You'll see a list of all of your network adapters, If you see Ethernet adapter Local Area Connect #:
you'll need to figure out which one is your connection.
The list item called "Default Gateway" will be the IP Address of your router.

N1 Vision Router: i cannot connect to my belkin router...

Check the routers gateway IP address is in the same subnet as the other computers or laptop.
Ie 192.168.1.X . (X is between 1 and 254)
In addition, the sub net mask is 255.255.255.0

If all is ok then it is probably a miss configuration with WPA /WEP options

How to forward website to belkin n1 vision router

You would have to log into the router to configure port forwarding on port 80. You would have to know the IP address of the computer hosting the website and put that in the routers config under port forwarding.

Belkin N1 Vision - Virtual Servers Add button doesn't run ok

Ascertain what incoming ports you need to open and the IP address of the device / computer that you wish to forward to and set the ports up manually.
· Enter a description for the service
· Enter the inbound port ranges from WAN
· Enter TCP/ UDP type
· Enter IP address that the service is to be forwarded
· Enter the private port range (keep these the same as the incoming ports unless you are running multiple services ie 2 web servers on port 80)
· Click enable check box and save entry
· Repeat as required.

BelkinMIMO wireless router stopped connecting to internet

I just installed a Belkin N1 (model F5D8635-4 v1000) to a Comcast Arris modem in SW Florida by resetting the IP on the router to 192.168.1.1 Comcast assigns 198.168.0.1 (but will accept 192.168.1.1 however not .2.1) and Belkin default is 192.168.2.1. Problem is easy enough to correct by following the instructions for changing the default router IP using a Firefox interface as documented in the user's manual. Note that when applying changes it takes about 30 seconds for changes to be effective.

Belkin n1 wireless router no security!!

Check ip address of your pc. Go to DOS Prompt, type ipconfig then click enter. Look for DEFAULT GATEWAY(that will be your router ip address). Open your browser and type the default gateway on the address field(example: 192.168.1.1). That will take you to your router page. You can set up security there.
