I've never heard of "getair", so I suspect it is spyware or related to spyware. What I suggest is to use the System Restore utility to bring your system back to an earlier time.
Boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date when your system worked OK. Note: with System Restore, everything, including your documents and other files you saved on the hard drive, will roll back to that date.
But, to access System Restore in Windows 7: Open the Start Menu. Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore.
