Question about Maytag Dryers
Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
As a general rule the belt pulley tension roller is getting worn. as the unit heats up the noise may go away. the 2nd thing that may go wrong is the drum bearing. and last but not least, the motor may make the noise
If you pull off the covers, you can try WD40 on the belt tension pulley. put all is a temp repair, and should be replaced.
as far as the drum bearing, you cant really get to it, without really tearing the machine down.
I tried to help you. Please help me and Rate/Vote on my response. We take the time to answer your question. take the time to rate us.Thanks and good luck
