When I burn a music disk using Nero the burn compleats ok but some of the data is missing the songs have words missing, but the songs play ok if played direct from my music folder( so i know they have ripped ok) I'm using verbatim media and the firmware is 104c and ive tried using a slow burn speed with no luck.
I have exactly the same problem with a brand spanking new laptop. We watched one dvd and then when I went to access another disc I got the exact same messages. The drive disappeared from "My Computer" and only shows with an ! in systems. The uninstall/reinstall/reboot idea does not work.
I am having the same problem with this drive installed in a new HP Pavillion DV2500. Anyone have any more suggestions as the uninstall / reinstall suggestion did not work.
When trying to update the driver, it says the most recent driver is installed.
