Question about JVC Projection Televisions

1 Answer

Hello, I have a JVC flat panel Model # LT-32X506. For the past 2 months I have had a problem getting the TV to turn on. I would have to press the on/off button many times and disconnect the electric cord and then plug it back in for it to come on. Then I decided just to leave it on and mute it. Yesterday I turned it off by accident and now I can't get it to turn on. The picture is BEAUTIFUL. I love the JVC Brand. Thank you Brett

The NERVE that your company has to send me an email that if I need more assistance to fix my problem I would have to pay another $14.99, is UNHEARD of. After letting your company know what I think about it-you tell me I need to pay again if the original problem wasn't fixed.

Well, again I have been taken by another website. When will I ever learn?

I want a MANAGER from Fixya to email me TODAY and explain why my live support session was ended before I could resolve my problem. I don't want an auto-reply email, I want a real MANAGER to email me with a PHONE NUMBER so I can call them back and they can explain this HORRIFIC situation to me personally.

NOW I am an EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED customer, Brett

I couldnt find any help online so we replaced it with a new led flat panel. WOW what a difference, the LXI was great for the past 17 years but the new tvs are better. We put the LXI in the garage because we couldnt throw it away. That tv was like a family member, if i figure out how to fix it i will post the how to.

Green Swooping Band on Top Of Screen JVC- 56WP74

Your convergence chip, or chips are gone. Easy to replace on this TV via front access panel. Remove the front speaker panel open up the access port and remove the front board. Get the IC's online and solder them in and replace, Make sure to check all of the resistors as they also blow and replace as needed. Make sure to use a good thermal paste like MX2 as this is the baser problem as to why these fail (you will see what I mean when you remove the chips)

Gray spots on screen on a JVC HDILA model HD 56G 787

The gray spots are caused by dust on your lens, very easy to clean.

Power down the TV.

If you open the right side access panel (right side as you are looking at the front of the TV) you can see it in the middle, it's not very big. Using a scratch/lint free cloth, gently wipe off the lens or use a vacuum to **** up the dust being careful not to actually touch the lens.

Replace the access panel and enjoy your spot free screen.
