Question about AT&T Lands Phones
In the base station of the phone is a radio transmitter and the phone handset of course has a receiver to pick up the signal from the base station transmitter, This is what makes the phone "Cordless" the transmitter or the receiver is defective. As far as repair goes it is not repaired except under warranty and even then they simply scrape the phone and send a replacement.
