Question about HP L1955 19" LCD Monitor
If there is no power getting to the monitor ( indicator light ), test the fuse in the power lead first.Ensure it is inserted tightly.
If there is power to the monitor, the green indicator light should be steady, if it is flashing there is a problem with the display
Test the monitor in another computer or laptop.
If t stays black , I'd supect a faulty backlight or more probably a blown power capacitor whih will need checking and replacing
