Best is to go to the site of the manufacturer of this mainboard.

At driverguide.com I could find information about a file, called
File Name: 6bzv81.zip(1.8 MB)

When checking this filename back at google, I got the link you're looking for :

Ram not working with motherboard

Hi

Check if your motherboard only supports only dual channel interleaved memory from the manual because it might be the main issue of your problem. Also DO NOT plug in the 512 MB ram you have over there. If it is ok to have one Slot empty then there should be no reason why it should not POST properly. Before jumping to conclusions that the RAM is faulty. Make sure that you REMOVE any overclocking you might have on the system. Some RAM won't post wihen the CPU clock and multiplier are not standard. Also it could help if you load FAIL SAFE settings in the BIOS until you determine the proper cause of the problem.

Hope that this helps :) (please rate thanks)

Windows won't see all of my 4GB of RAM but BIOS does! Why?

Windows xp will usually only see 3.5 gbs of ram even in your motherboard can support more. WIndowns vista does recognize more RAM or i also believe windows xp 64bit recognizes more ram. Nothing wrong with ram or your computer its just your operating system.

Continous beep every 6 seconds

There is either a problem with your memory or your BIOS settings. Did you recently change any settings in your BIOS? If so try resetting it. You may refer to the motherboard user Guide for help regarding resetting your BIOS/CMOS settings. If you cant find it you may also try to remove the CMOS battery on your motherboard for a few hours and then connect it back this should have reset your BIOS.

If you are sure you havent changed any settings then there may be a problem with your RAM or the slot in which the RAM is connected. Check it by using a spare slot on your comp. If it does nt work then you may have to replace your system RAM.

Max Ram PCG FRV37

If the 1GB sticks fit and you are able to insert them it will not do any harm to your PC. However, it will only use the max amount stated in the manual. This is hardwired into the motherboard so there is no get around.

Cmos checksum error after flashing the bios

I had a similar experience after upgrading my RAM. When you reset your CMOS and have default settings maybe you should check if your RAM timings are correct. I could not get mine to load with both sticks in until I fixed the timings from the default settings.
