EI210 replaces single-pole switch only.
Single pole switch is where 1 switch controls the Load (light, fan, motor)

To wire this timer:
1) Single-pole switch has 2 insulated wires and 1 bare ground wire.
2) Connect insulated switch wires to timer red wire and timer black wire, in either order for now.
3) Connect timer green wire to bare ground wire.
4) In back of electric box are white wire that are twisted together and covered with wire nut. Connect timer white wire to these wires. This will power electronics located inside the timer.
5) If electric box does not have white wires described above, then connect timer white wire to bare ground wire along with green wire.
6) Turn power ON. Press oval button. If indicator light turns ON, then timer is wired correctly. If indicator light does not come on, then reverse timer black wire and timer red wire.

How to use a P3 power supply with a P4 or newer motherboard.

Well its fairly simple, You need the following cable to convert your P3 power supply into P4 power supply.

The pictures pretty much explain every thing, this is the only plug that is not present on a P3 power supply. You can make this cable your self by salvaging connectors from non-working power supplies and other computer peripherals. The connections are straight forward just connect both the yellow wires to the single yellow wire and the black wires to the black wires and your done.

How do I connect a day night switch

I assume your talking about a day/night sensor that controls one or more lights. If that's the case the sensor has 3 wires, B/R/and W. The lights have 2 wires B and W. And you have a 110Vac power line with 2 wires B and W. To wire it. Connect the black wire from the power supply to the black wire from the sensor. Connect the red wire from the sensor to the black wires going to the lights. Connect the remaining white wires all together.

My old power supply had 4 wires going to the front panel on\off switch. The Dynex power supply does not support the switch. what do I use to turn the unit on or off. Will the unit function with out the...

Normally the front panel on/off power button and the front panel reset button plug into connector pins on your motherboard.

If you can find a User Manual for your motherboard it will show you exactly where the switch leads plug in on the motherboard. The motherboard's manufacturer and model number will be printed on the board somewhere.

Good luck.

Where on dishwasher is power supply? like how do we connect to power?

You connect your incoming 120v supply to the black and white wires on your d/w. the black and white wires are located at the bottom of your d/w on the right hand side in a small box. You may need 1/4in nut driver to open the box and there you will find your white(neutral) and black(hot power) wires located
thanks.

The ac power adapter type cannot be determined, your system will operate slower and the bettery will not charge. please connect a dell 65w AC adapter or Higher for best system operation.

Dell power supplies use 3 wires. One detects the power supply. If you are using a Dell supply then that wire is broken inside the cord or at the connection. If this a universal power supply it only has 2 wires.

I have 2 sets of wires in the outlet box, the outlet box is connected to a wall switch. Which wires do I connect to the fan.

Usually the two wires that go to the wall switch are used to break the load, (switch the power (COMMON) OFF and ON to the fan).

The other wires in the ceiling box are the supply wires.

You need to look at the wires and find the pair that are LIVE, the one set that has live power on the BLACK wire. This set of wires are the SUPPLY wires. You can use a voltage detector or a neon bulb tester to determine which wires are LIVE. Once you do that, you should turn off the breaker until you have finished the installation.

Connect with a wire nut, the Ceiling (SUPPLY) box WHITE (neutral) wire to the fan's WHITE wire.

Connect with a wire nut, the BLACK (common) SUPPLY wire in the outlet box, to the WHITE wire going to the switch box,

Now connect the the BLACK wire coming from the switch box to the Fan's black wire.

Be sure to connect the bare copper ground wires together with teh Green (or bare) wire from the fan, with a wire nut.

This completes the wiring of the circuit and the fan should go ON and OFF with the wall switch. Now turn on the breaker and check for proper operation.

You can change the speed of the fan with the pull chain on the fan, if this is a standard ceiling fan.

Hope you find this information Very Helpful and best regards!

I would like to know how to troubleshoot a brand new Ultra LS600 power supply. I would like to go beyond hearing "it's dead" since I am getting power to the motherboard (via indicator light)m but the PSU...

You can start the PSU manually with a paper clip.
Remove the 20 pin connector from the motherboard, leave the four pin power connectors attached to your various drives (this will provide a load on the power supply when it start up (provided it is not faulty).
Look at the 20 pin connector with the connector facing you.and the locking clip to your left.
The fourth pin from the bottom LH corner should be a green colour wire and the next two wires (5th & 6th pin) should be black and next to the locking clip.
Straighten a paper clip and insert it into the 4th pin and into the 5th or 6th pin (ie connect these wires together). These wires connect to the front panel switch to turn on your computer. You are testing the power supply only and since it is not connected to the motherboard the computer won't start.
Now connect the power unit to the mains and switch on the mains, if the power supply is OK the PSU fan should spin up and your hard disk should also spin up. If nothing happens the the PSU is faulty.
You can test the +5volts and +12volts supply on a 4 pin power connector with a multimeter. The red wire is +5volts and the yellow wire is +12volts and the black wires are negative (ground). The voltage readings should be within 5% of these voltages.
There are other voltages to be checked +3volts, -5volts, & -12volts. but these are not as critical.
