The lower part of the plastic foot on each tripod leg just screws off. Change just one cell at a time so you don't get confused which way the cell goes in. Use alkaline cells, not zinc-carbon which tend to leak. Good luck!

I have a Stanley tripod flash light that taked 3 AA batteries in each leg of the tri pod. On one of the legs the batteries corroded inside and I can't seem to get them out . Any suggestions to this...

After drilling each leg to remove my corroded batteries I found that each leg isa push fit allowing it to seperate from the body thus allowing a screwdriver to be pushed thru releasing the corroded batteries. Re-assemble assuring a tight fit to make connection and it works well. Good luck I was drilling 1 leg for hours and the other 2 took ten minutes.

Pocket Pod wont turn on

MOST pedal devices ENABLE the battery when the INPUT audio cable is inserted (there is a switch on the jack it plugs into). This automatically connects the battery when you go to use it... ALSO if you leave the cable plugged in will DRAIN the battery.

Charger is putting out 13.7 volts but battery does not take a charge

If its the right charger, and connected correctly, then it is probably just time to replace the battery. Try checking out http://www.batteryinternational.com/flashlight-batteries-streamlite---maglite.html for a replacement flashlight battery. Also, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by saying the charger is putting out 13.7 volts, but make sure you aren't using a charger that is too powerful, that can destroy the battery. Check out http://www.batteryinternational.com/battery-chargers-6-volt-battery-chargers.html. You shouldn't use a charger any larger than that. Hope that helps

LED Flashlight Battery Drain Problem

This particular flashlight uses a microchip that consumes the power of the batteries, whether in use or not. Loosen the case to where the batteries go in, so there is no contact with polarity. Or just take the batteries out completely and replace them for actual use.

Mini Maglite not working

You could have dirty contacts if the batteries were in for a long time and you never used it. The contacts are: (1) the tip of the spring and (2) where the positive end of the battery touches way inside the flashlight. You can try and clean them with alcohol. If you think it might be the bulb, try the spare. There is a spare bulb under the spring you see at the base of the flashlight when you install the batteries, you have to pull the spring out and then snap it back in after you get the bulb out. And yes, positive end goes in first in the Maglite. Hope this helps.
