If the resolution of your video doesn't match the resolution of your screen, it will be smaller.

Go to desktop, right click away from any icons.

Click personalise or properties.

Go into your screen settings and lower the resolution.

Try the following;

* Reboot PC from Last Known Good Configuration.

To start your computer by using the Last Known Good Configuration feature, follow these steps: Start your computer. When you see the "Please select the operating system to start" message, press the F8 key. When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, use the ARROW keys to select Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked), and then press ENTER.

OR

* Do a System Restore

Open System Restore by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type System Restore, and then, in the list of results, click System Restore. Hp pavillion dv9815 won't start. it just reboots over and over. shutting down each time.

take out the battery, then take out the memory. Put one of the two memory modules back in, and turn it on. If everything looks ok, shut down and put the other one back and try again...if everything is ok...then ok. If it doesn't work after the first one, let me know...

The orange volume mute button won't go off when i touch it on my hp pavillion dv7 1245dx

I have had similar problems with a hp notebook in the past, although it was the wireless button, not the mute button.

I think you need to remove and then install the sound card driver.
You can download the sound card from here:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp41001-41500/sp41479.exe

download it, save it to the desktop.
open control panel, then device manager, then expand sound, video and game controllers. right click on the IDT device and select uninstall, and tick remove driver when prompted. Once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer and then run the above file you have downloaded by right clicking on it and selecting "Run as Administrator".
When finished, reboot, and hopefully your problem is solved.

Hope this info helps.

While watching a video on YouTube, right click inside the video and remove the tick mark for enable hardware acceleration. That will solve your problem. Its a problem with Adobe Flash Player.
