My LG Flatiron L2010P monitor won't go on anymore. :(

    Thanks! It didn't work, though. Do you have any other troubleshooting ideas? When I unplugged the cable from my laptop to the monitor my screen display on the laptop changed.... which means there is some "life" on the monitor... it just stays dark.

    hi! did you get my email to you? I was wondering if you had any other thoughts as that didn't work...but when i took the cable out from teh monitor, my laptop screen changed which indicates there is some life in the monitor.

    Thanks! I'll try that right away, but I have a MAC and I don't see "Fn"..... can you describe that key more? I do have F8!

    Never mind! I found it but it didn't work... thanks :( LCD is dead I guess.

you can check first if the power button is stuck, isolate the problem too if the power cord is still OK. try to plug it directly to the wall outlet. if same thing happens sadly you need to replace the monitor or call LG support to check the warranty

    Hi Lyn try to do press Fn + F8 in you laptops keyboard at the same time while the LCd is plugged in your laptop. If nothing happens LCD is dead.

    Hi Lyn. it looks like you need to get a new lcd monitor and have it replaced after all the things we tried.

LG Flatron W2254TQ My monitor is vertically divided in half with a grayish cast color on the right side, and a bluish cast color on the left side - I can still see everything, but it sure is...
Get a replacement vga lead for it as i am guessing that it has become faulty, try bending the cable where it connects to the pc and monitor and see if you notice a change if it goes back to normal your cable is not attached correctly or it has broken connections inside.

LG Flatron L2010P monitor. Says no input signal with the monitor plugged into the PC. I know the cable and PC are good as they work with my other monitor. Thanks for any help!!
Make sure the correct input is selected. This monitor has both analog (VGA) and digital (DVI) inputs, and it may not be automatically detecting the input you're using. If the proper input is selected and the monitor still says there isn't any input signal, about the only option is to replace the monitor or try to find a replacement signal board from an online source. Most repairs need specialized tools to diagnose and then change the bad parts.

LG Flatiron monitors.1st one on Dell pc works great. 2nd one in same household to Compaq pc still flashes faint pink on parts that should be white.
Probably just some color balance is of. Reset white to something different on the compaq. Try downloading nvidia-settings and see what happens when you mess with color balances. Mess around with some settings til it looks right, or see if you can reset the white balance to a different preset on the monitor's menu

Try changing to a different video resolution setting. Most monitors work well with the resolution set to 1024 X 768. I'm not sure what operating system you're using, but here's an example of how to do it with Windows XP...

Right-click on your desktop...then click Properties -- Settings --
You can try different resolution settings in the settings window.
