Hi

The issue is either with clogged water lines or the water inlet valve that is bad. If you have already checked the water inlet valve and cleaned the water lines & the valve for any clogs then it is the float switch that should be checked and if it is bad should be replaced. Hope this helps...

Where would water be leaking into Drivers side footwell , can not find where

Most likely water is entering the inside drivers door area, is building up and running out between the door frame at the bottom and the interior door card. There is a plastic sheet seal on the door to prevent water entry into the car but if the sheet has been disturbed and the seal broken water can seep in.

If you get in the car and have someone run a hose over various suspect areas one by one as you check for water entry. You will soon detect where the entry source is.

Other than that, if you are running the aircon and the condensation drain tube is blocked, instead of draining from the car the water will build up and run onto the floor. Whether it goes to the driver or passenger floor depends on the set up of the system.

3 beeps every 3 seconds

This usually occurs when there is a water supply issue. If you remove the front cover and expose the right side of the unit, you will see (at the top right) a panel with a black button on it about 1/3 the way in. USE A FLASHLIGHT to locate it.... there is an electrical shock hazard here.

Push the button and the beeps will stop. If the warning recurs, check for water pressure to the unit.

First, if you have a filter system, crack the nut at the entry to the filter just enough to see if water is present there. If not, go to the source and check the angle-stop... change it, or open it, as required.

If you have water at the filter inlet, do the same thing (after tightening the nut you loosened) at the outlet. No water?..... change the filters. Water present?... do the same at the entry to the ice machine.

Water at the entrance? Turn off the water and remove that fitting to expose the inlet solenoid valve and examine the strainer. If clogged, remove and clean the strainer.

Beyond this, you will need a technician to deal with the issue. Call the Hoshizaki factory at 1*800*438*6087 to find a factory-authorized service company in your area.

Our Maytag dishwasher has all of the sudden stopped rinsing the dishes. The machine sounds like it is running but no water is flowing. The wash cycle runs but not the rinse. Any clues as to why

Check inlet water supply for free flow. check strainer for blockage. Strainer is located at the machine body water inlet tube entry side.

Hi there my hotpoint washing machinewma 54 fills up without the machine being on

Hello. your fill valve is faulty and needs to be replaced.

here is how the fill valve is supposed to work:
The fill valve--which is about the size of a coffee cup--is sometimes also called a "water inlet valve." It controls the entry of hot and cold water into the machine. The valve has three major components:

  • A hot-water solenoid

  • A cold-water solenoid

  • A mixing valve body

The inlet valve has three hoses connected to it, for :

  • The hot water from the house

  • The cold water from the house

  • The water directed into the washing machine's inner tub (either hot or cold, or both) to fill it with water

When electricity flows to one or both solenoids, water flows through the valve into the washing machine's inner tub. When the electricity stops, the water also stops.

Just a few months old and stopped steaming, steams frowater entry

I have taken one of these completely apart and found it is glued together except for the platinum plate on the bottom. It is held on by circular lock clips and will break w/o proper tool. I see no way to repair these and the cost of sending in will probably be as expensive as a new one. I have seen them at Lowes and TuesdayMorning for about $100.00. Have tried to get a repair manual from Rowenta-good luck!

Hello baud Welcome,
You said the water entry into the machine is fine with nothing blocking it. But you keep getting the red light on for "water tap closed". At one point the water did start flowing in but soon stopped and turn on the warning light again. Please suggest how to fix it??

I believe this sounds like the screens are dirty and stopping water flow so it shuts down!
Dry all of the below suggestions.

Washer displaying code message and or tone sounds
“F20” (Water Inlet Problem—no water or insufficient
water supply)
First:
Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug
washer or disconnect power.Leave power off for 5 minutes. This will reset the system!
Check the following:
Are water faucets completely turned on?
*****Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer clogged?
Remove hose from washer an clean screens at water inlet!

Are water inlet hoses kinked?
Are water inlet hoses frozen?
Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select cycle and press
START. If the problem remains, call for service.

Let me know how you do.
Thank You Huuum
