Hello,

Call waiting process or make up below.

Call Waiting lets you receive an incoming call when you're engaged in a conversation on your wireless phone. After a notification, you can put the first call on hold and answer the second call. You can also decide not to accept the second call and it will be routed to voice mail. You will incur airtime and any applicable long distance and roaming charges for both calls simultaneously.
Using Call Waiting Consult your phone's user guide for detailed instructions on how to use Call Waiting.
Or this click on the menu button of the phone then stroll down to phone setting or setting then click on it , stroll down to call setting click on it then stroll down to call waiting then you will be has to activate voice call click on activate once then wait for fell second.

How to answer a second call:

  • Simply push the Send, OK, or Talk button on your phone for about one half-second.
  • Your first call is now on hold and you can talk to the second caller.
  • To alternate between the two parties, press the Send, OK, or Talk button again.
Good luck and thanks for using fixya

First: you must activate Caller ID service from company that is supplied to the external phone lines

secondly: you must buy Caller ID cards for PBX

If these conditions are met Send me a message in order to explain to you how to install and programming this service

A resident in our skilled nursing facility has a Jitterbug phone. She told me she does not know what to do when she is talking on the phone and a "call waiting" signal indicates another call is coming in....

Hi,<br />When she sees/hears the "call waiting" signal, she can press the "yes" button to switch to the caller who's waiting (this also puts the first caller on hold).<br />Then, if she wants to switch back, she should just press the "yes" button again.<br />If she wants to end the call with whomever she's *currently* talking to, just press the "no" button.<br /><br />Also, you can go here to download a free guide to using the Jitterbug (in PDF format): <a href="http://www.jitterbug.com/phones/pdfs/HowToGuide.pdf"><i><span class="f"><cite>www.<b>jitterbug</b>.com/phones/pdfs/HowToGuide.pdf</cite></span></i></a><br /><br />Hope this helps!<br /> <br />Let me know if you have any other questions,<br /><br />

Press and hold the "2" button. Your first caller is put on hold and you can talk to your second caller.
To revert back to the original caller, press and hold the "2" button again.

KX-TG6071M 5.8 GHz talking caller id not working

Hi trinigirl, You should not have to do anything to make the caller id information come through. There is no programming to perform for the regular caller id identification on your display after the second ring (it takes at least one ring cycle for the digital information to pass through). Your model also has the talking caller id function, which will announce in English the callers name or a custom name you can prepare in the phone book of handset number 1. With all that said, you are not getting caller id showing after the second ring, then your phone is bad (which is pretty rare for this symptom), or your phone line still does not have caller id activated. To troubleshoot your problem you need another phone line with working caller id and/or a different phone that is known good to pass caller id. That way you can interchange the phones/lines to see if it is your line or your phone. My guess it is your line somehow, though I have fixed phones that won't pass caller id, but rarely. If it is your phone, try rebooting it, thats about all you can do short of sending it in for repair. Let me know how it goes. CG

Caller ID set up and poor audio quality

Set up the callers in your contacts. You must have the area code for the name to show up. You must dial the area code for the name to show up when dialing out.

The hearing problem could be the person you are talking to, if your volume is all the way up. If you are sure that it is you I would talk to a motorola technician. Let me know how it goes.

How to change Flash timing

The only reference to flash timing I can find in the manual is shown below for you, also here is link to manual :
I hope it helps !
http://www.uniden.com/products/productdetail.cfm?product=TRU8885-2

If you have Call Waiting service and a call waiting
tone sounds while you are on a call, press talk/flash
on the handset or flash/find hs on the base to accept
the waiting call. There is a short pause, and then you
will hear the new caller. To return to the original
caller, press talk/flash on the handset or flash/find
hs
on the base again.

Setting the Ring Time
Ring Time allows you to set the number of rings the caller hears before your
answering system plays the outgoing message. You can set the ring time to answer
after two, four, or six rings. If you enable the Toll Saver (TS), the answering system
picks up after two rings if you have new messages and after four rings if there are
none.
1) Enter the Answ. Setup menu, and then the Ring Time
submenu (see "Entering the Menu" on page 16).
2) Press volume up/down to select a Ring Time (Toll
Saver, 2 Times, 4 Times, or 6 Times).
3) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
Setting the Record Time
Record Time sets the duration for recording the incoming messages. You have three
record time options. The options "1 minute" or "4 minutes" set the duration for
recording the incoming messages. "Announce only" answers the call but prevents
the caller from leaving a message.
1) Enter the Answ. Setup menu, and then the Record
Time submenu (see "Entering the Menu" on page 16).
2) Press volume up/down to select Record Time
(1 Minute, 4 Minutes, or Announce Only).
3) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
